Notes

[1]herıan|herı] Left descender of <n> visible in margin. Second heri deleted by underlining. A similar correction has been made in Ld (herıan herıan). Trimming has damaged or destroyed the final letters in all but the last two manuscript lines in this witness.

[2]ƿe[ard]|] The left loop of the <e> and what was (presumably) the bottom of loop of the <a> are still visible in margin.

[3]h[ıs]|] <ı> partially visible in margin.

[4]ƿu[l]|dor fæder] Left descender of <u> visible in margin.

[5][æ]|ræst] Bottom left of loop of <æ> just visible in margin.

[6][halıg]|] Left descender of <h> visible in margin.

[7]mıddan ear[de]|] de is assumed on the basis of all other witnesses to this tradition.

[8]ƿeard|] Loop and top of the ascender of <d> partially visible in margin.

[9]frea o{:} ealmıhtı·|] A letter (probably <o>) has been erased between frea and ealmıhtı.
